The Duke and I - Julia Quinn

Where to start? This book is the first of the Bridgerton series and quite frankly, its wasn't as bad as I anticipated. I remembered not loving their love story in the tv series so it makes sense that I didn't prefer the book much. It was an incredibly slow book but I'm not gonna dog the book for that because courting was a very slow process in ye olden days so I get it. But also 3 chapters of them talking in a hallway alone without being caught is insane.

Daphne was pretty boring, Simon had severe daddy issues and I guess thye were made for each other. I will say that Daphne does a very diabolical/evil thing towards the end of the book and she is tainted in my eyes for that. Simon shouldn't have forgiven her so easily..
