Book thoughts
I am slogging through breaking dawn and I just wanna say something. This series is fuckin bad. This is why I don't read series. I have to finish it and I straight up do not want to OMG. Stephanie meyer has the writing capabilites of a monkey bro. I just read the "sex" scene. She got in the water and then it was magically the next morning. What the hell happened to all that yearning that happened in eclipse? The morman community decided it was too much? Whatever bro. I'm rage reading this book at this point.

Current unread physical book count: 90

Relapse.
When hanging out with Poob and Plurnts this weekend, I have done the inevitable. Purchased more books. I know, you don’t have to say it. I was planning on not purchasing any books this year because I have 84 books to read this year alone. I know, a nightmare really. So I came home with 8 books. Now I have 90 unread books at my house. I… I don’t know where to go from here other than just wherever I go I should have a book in my hand.
I am currently working on listening to David Bowie’s full discography. I have no words because I have just started today. Kind of just letting you know my movements.
I have been journaling much more now that me and my triplet brothers are doing shared journals that we will all fill out around the same times and trade. It’s very fun, I should make an effort to journal more after this. I think that I am ready to be rid of the technology forward life that we live. I’m ready to live again. I’m ready to draw and color. I am ready to go and explore nature. I’m ready to travel. I’m ready to experience the weekends instead of waste them away. I’m just ready.
In other news, my fiance is ahead of me in reading the Dungeon Crawler Carl series and I am happy for him. I’m glad he is reading and the momentum of him being ahead of me and my brother is enough for him to keep going. I think reading is good for everyone and I am excited that I’m encountering more and more people who are available to talk about books, movies, music, and nature. I really appreciate all the people in my life that are excited to live life. It’s quite harrowing to be alive with all these regular people who are so keen to live their lives through the screen of a phone. I was there and I hope that people find their hopes and dreams beyond the phone.
Maybe I am just so keen to live again cause the weather is turning, my birthday is coming up, and I have a lot of aspirations for the spring/summer. I have so much to do this year in regards to getting my life back on track. One step at a time, but it will get there. I have to make that promise to myself because I know that there is much more good waiting for me out there.
That’s about all I’ve got for the time being. Check out our book review section, I should have some new reviews set up soon.

Some house inspo

Classics Corner
Classics are daunting. I have a total of 28 classics (what I consider to be classics anyways) sitting at my house right now. I have read about 3 of them. That's a little embarrassing. This is my "Classic Corner" where I will update my progress on my classics.
THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES - SIR ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE
This book novel is about the Baskervilles, a family long ailed by the lore of a large hound due to past family member's wrongdoings. The former head of the house Sir Charles Baskerville has seemingly passed away from the sight of a hound come to kill him, but his physician thinks there is something more to the case and now the new inheritor of the house, Henry Baskerville's life has been threatened.. There is something more to be had and Sherlock and Watson are on the case.
This book was a treat! I finished it in just a couple of days when I put my mind to it! Find the post in our book reviews!

My scary hound, also subsequently could give an old man a heart attack worthy of killing him

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle himself. Would you look at the chap? This is a guy with a mind for something larger and more intricate than that of a pint at the pub.
< A much prettier cover of the book
The Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde
A young man falls into the path of evil, he remains beautiful but his portrait twists into a disgusting portrait of the person he has become.

This book has a good concept but god it was sooo boring. Not until the very end does it become quite interesting. 4 deaths on his hands and Dorian then decides to lose it. Okay. This book needed to be 50 pages long. Good premise, too long.

^ I wish I had this cover of this book
Look at this fuckin guy. Oscar Wilde looks British (derogatory)

Live footage of Dorian Gray going out to eat dinner and get drinks and the fuck else he does all goddamn day
