This book novel is about the Baskervilles, a family long ailed by the lore of a large hound due to past family member's wrongdoings. The former head of the house Sir Charles Baskerville has seemingly passed away from the sight of a hound come to kill him, but his physician thinks there is something more to the case and now the new inheritor of the house, Henry Baskerville's life has been threatened.. There is something more to be had and Sherlock and Watson are on the case.

First of all, Sherlock is barely in this book and when you do see him, turns out he know how everything has gone down. He's like the classmate who doesn't do anything for the powerpoint but presents it very well so it looks like he did it. He was reheating Watson's leftovers. I did NOT suspect the twist at the end, though I was hoping it was akin to a scooby doo mystery and the dog was a person in a suit! It was not so...

Honestly? Really solid read. I am pleasantly surprised at how easily I was able to digest it honestly. I will be reading more Sherlock Holmes in the future.
