Heartsick - Chelsea Cain

This book was easy to read, had a good pace, but honestly what took away from the story for me was Gretchen. Gretchen and her fucked up pseudo boyfriend, Archie. I did not enjoy his attachment to her and I really don't like that our main plot was somehow tied up into the subplot of Gretchen.

But I liked Susan. Susan was the best. Susan saved this book for me and her tie in to the main plot was unexpected but enjoyable (that sounds messed up, but it was good.)

This is not one of those books that has you gripping the pages and covering the next paragraphs because your eyes are jumping around too much. It was a very chill story. I just hated Gretchen and I will not be completing the series.
