I almost forgot I read this book bc I needed to get it out of my head the moment I read it.

This book is good. Let me get that part known. The story is written incredibly well, I am beyond shocked about how quickly I was able to read this book.

This book is also nasty as fuck. This book is about consuming humans like cattle due to a disease that infected all animals. The main character runs a processing plant for "head" (Human meat). Throughout the book you are taken through the whole process of slaughtering humans and breaking down their carcasses. You are also taken to the butcher shop to learn how they display human meat in a cooler, you get to go to a big game facility where they hunt humans, and most importantly, you get to see the human that the main character has locked up in his barn.

This book was horrific and prevented me from consuming beef or pork for a solid 3-4 weeks. I assume for a lighter hearted similar story one might want to read the Jungle by Upton Sinclair instead.

4.5/5 Stars.
