Slewfoot - Brom

I enjoyed this book a lot! 

Some spoilers ahead

I enjoyed how loving Edward and Abitha were towards each other. While Edward still had certain convictions with his religion, it was clear he loved his wife. I was so sad that their last interaction was an argument before he died :(. Also his brother, Wallace was the literal worst. He sucks. He got what was coming to him. Sarah really pmo in the end but I understand here going a bit crazy with all of the literal torture they put her through. 

I wasn't a fan that Samson had to save Abitha twice and I would have liked to see Abitha's powers a bit more before meeting Samson... Even if they were small. I know she had the charms but that felt almost minute in comparison to what she could do after meeting him.

The back and forth of Samson trying to learn if he was the devil or not was also much, even after he met Mamunappet(?).

Overall, I enjoyed the story and plan on reading more by Brom
