The book had so much potential. Unfortunately, the characters felt shallow and juvenile, despite their supposed ages and the trauma that they had allegedly faced as children. I didn't understand the motivation of the antagonist and why he was such a hateful, murderous person. Why did he hate the FMC so much? Why did he hate the boys, especially Maddox? Why did he want to ruin Maddox's image and break the band up so badly? And why was he so obsessed with stabbing????
