Family of Liars - E. Lockhart

Family of Liars is a prequel to we were liars, so in an attempt to not spoil that book... here we go.

This book is about a fateful summer in the 80's on the Sinclair family summer island. The Sinclairs are upstanding citizens, they don't let their emotions get the best of them. They think before they do, and when they don't think, they have a hell of a good cover up. This particular summer involves boys brought to the island, you can imagine how that might go. While there are romantic themes, this is also a story about self reflection and dealing with grief in unorthodox ways.

I really can't say more without spoiling the whole fucking thing so start with We Were Liars and go from there. They are easy reads!
