I was expecting not to like this book as I am rarely a fan of contemporary romance. However, I can say that I really enjoyed reading this book.

The relationship between the two main characters grows really organically. The book starts with the two seeing each other again at a frat party and then they discuss the first time they met. They exchange numbers and it goes from there. I was rooting for them to get together the whole time.. However...

SPOILER ALERT

Ben having decided he was going to leave and abandoned everyone... then meeting Harriet, deciding not to leave, then leaving again, then not leaving.. Really kind of PMO. Then, at the end, when we learn that he has OCD (much like one of his many older brothers), it does kind of make sense... However, we only see his older brother struggle with OCD once in the whole story... that's it. And if OCD runs in the family, who else has it? His dad, maybe?? Because his dad consistently goes to the same therapist??? We never learn, tbh. And when Ben comes home, we never learn anything. He just kinda.... comes back.

Also the whole pregnancy thing was kind of annoying. I enjoy that it added to the stakes but it just feels so cliche.

To end: I enjoyed the book. I have zero plans on reading any of the others in the series..
