In Dubious Battle - John Steinbeck

I cannot believe I went through that whole book expecting to not have a classic Steinbeck ending.

This book follows Jim and Mac and their attempt at a strike to get fair wages for fruit pickers. Their cause was noble and they were fighting at a very large disadvantage against a corrupt conglomerate.
This book was not interesting by any means because a strike can only be so interesting, but this book made me think long and hard about how things have changed and how they haven't.
I have no words for the last page of this book.
3.5 Stars for Jim
